Before my son’s passing in May 2019, I enjoyed writing, engaging in discussions, and sharing my experiences through written form. However, after his transition, I stopped writing almost entirely and began focusing on photographing and filming my surroundings. At first, I thought this shift was because my grief had made it too difficult to write. But I sensed there was more to it.
In the days following his passing, I often found myself filming my garden as I began to experience a noticeable shift both internally and externally. I was starting to feel a new kind of connection, one that was difficult to put into words. I captured footage of animals, trees, and various aspects of nature, without fully understanding why I felt compelled to do so.
Then, in October 2020, I began hearing the spirit world speaking audibly in the air around me and I’ve continued to hear them in this way ever since. When I revisited videos from earlier, I discovered that my team in spirit had been speaking with me before I’d developed the ability to hear them objectively, as had my son Tommy. As I did not hear them speak in real time, I have created this category to reflect videos where vocal messages can be heard.
Interestingly, I have also heard vocal communication by Spirit in videos that are sent to me by others. They may send the videos for me to check out the orbs they have filmed or animals they have captured or other scenarios, not being aware that the video contained a vocal message. When I share what I hear, they are amazed. Once they hear the messages in their video, they cannot unhear it and have a wonderful message to treasure going forwards.
I believe that many instances of what is referred to as electronic voice phenomena (EVP), where the spirit world imprints vocal messages on recording devices, are actually instances where spirit is speaking audibly in the air. The person recording is simply not attuned to the frequency that would enable the messages to be heard in real time when spoken.
When time permits, I plan to revisit more of the videos from the time when I was not yet able to hear and will create more presentations of what was said. Likewise, I will continue to welcome any future videos that others send me to view and listen to and will present new findings. I
