– Pierre Teilhard de Chardin.
The physical body dies, we do not. Like many others, I don’t just believe this, I know it to be true. We come from the realm of spirit to experience life in human form and then we transition back to spirit. I remember having a conversation with Tommy during the last few weeks of his human life about this subject. He was aware of my connection to spirit and my work with others. As gently as he could, he let me know that he thought that physical death was the end, that we simply returned to dust. I remember smiling as I heard his words, respecting his beliefs at that time. I felt so much love for him at that moment, my beautiful boy with an innate altruistic nature, gave of himself without any belief in some sort of heavenly reward or recognition. Within a short time of his passing, he began making his presence known in many different ways. On remembering our conversation shortly before he passed, I gently placed my hand on his urn and said, “I bet you were surprised to discover that you continued to exist.” Little did I know of the adventure that was to unfold.
Below are two buttons. One relates to Tommy’s life here in human form and the other to his life, as I have experienced it, back in the realm of spirit. The former consists of the incredible eulogy that his sister wrote and delivered at Tommy’s funeral. You could have heard a pin drop as she spoke, everyone knew the Tommy that she described, it was a breathtaking tribute to her brother. The latter is written by me and highlights some of our journey together since Tommy transitioned to spirit.
