Hearing the Spirit World
An Introduction
In the first year after my son transitioned back to spirit, I heard his laughter and him calling out my name several times in our home. The world over, millions of people hear their loved ones who have passed talk in this way from time to time. Such precious experiences. However, my ongoing ability to hear the spirit world talk with me in the air has come about as a result of my blend of mediumship and how the world of spirit has chosen to utilize it. I must emphasize at this point that none of what you will hear stemming from this segment is as a result of electronic voice phenomena (EVP). What you will hear was all heard in the air around me in my garden or elsewhere, a form of direct voice phenomena. I simply have my phone handy to capture what I hear by way of either using the voice memo app or via video recording. Most of what you hear will contain my real time affirmation of having heard the voice of whomever is communicating at the moment it is happening.
My mediumship ensures that I only talk with those I wish to talk with and my team in spirit helps keep my space protected from random spirit communication. I recognize the vocal tone of different members of my team and our exchanges are always a delight…as are the verbalized communications I receive from others too. In real time, often what I hear sounds louder than the volume at which my phone records it, I’m not sure why that is. It does mean though that many of the examples I have given here needed to be amplified in volume for others to hear.
Environmental noise can be an issue. Birds, crickets, the odd airplane overhead, a car passing in the distance on a private road and even a breeze rustling the leaves on trees are my most common noise issues. I try to ensure that any planned communication occurs when the environment around me is at its quietest so that I can both hear and also so that anything that is spoken is captured with little additional sound distraction.
Since I began sitting weekly for my physical mediumship, my ability to hear the spirit world speak in air has become more finely attuned. I can now hear my team and Tommy speak in the air in my home, a soft whisper..sometimes with a vocal tone, sometimes without. And people will send me videos and recordings to listen to on a regular basis and I can hear messages, where they are present. A client once sent me a video of a room where her mother lay, three hours before her passing. She sent me the video to hear my thoughts on possible orbs being seen in the video. But, within the noise created by a piece of medical apparatus in the room, I could hear talking. It was the mother’s family on the other side, reassuring my client’s mother and letting her know all was well and they were there to bring her home. I was able to reduce some of the noise surrounding the words and then bring my client into a zoom setting and she too could hear the voices of the other family members. A beautiful moment.
At this point, I want to give a shout out to a guy named Ben who has worked on some of the audio recordings for me over the last couple of years. My experience and expertise of amplifying the volume of what I capture is limited and my time is scarce. Ben has been enormously helpful. And my grateful thanks also go out to my dear friend Catherine Lee, who also has a son in spirit, Zak. Her skills at reducing noise etc on the audio and video recordings vastly exceeds mine and I’m so grateful for her ongoing help. She will happily take on all the original recordings that I send her way and is an important element in my producing keepsakes for clients when I hear their loved ones talk in the air. These two wonderful people have played a large part in much of what you will hear and I’m grateful beyond words for their continued commitment and assistance.
Before I say more, here’s a little of the back story to my hearing the spirit world this way.. I first heard my son and team talk with me in the air in my garden back in October of 2020. I didn’t know what to make of it, how could it be? I was stunned and my rational brain tried to make sense of it. Was it possible for those in spirit to talk in the air? Then, on 1st November, 2020, I hit the voice memo record button on my phone whilst I talked to a client’s son in spirit. On asking him a question, I clearly heard his response to me in the air to my right. As I listened back to what I’d just recorded, his response had been captured. It really was happening. Somehow, the spirit world was communicating audibly with me in my garden. And they have continued with this externally audible form of communication ever since.
I’m thankful for the wonderful group of people who are a part of the private facebook group you see depicted here. They lend me their ears on an ongoing basis, listening to what I hear and giving me feedback. Because I’m so attuned to what I hear, the feedback is invaluable to me in relation to gaining an understanding of what others can hear. Much of what is presented was chosen as a result of their feedback. I’m hugely grateful for their ears and their time.
I quickly learned that not everyone will hear what I hear spoken in the air and those that do will most often not hear the words until I have conveyed what they are. Initially, I thought this to be problematic but I have discovered the opposite to be true. Any insinuations of the voice being that of a human talking are quickly scuppered by the fact that everyone would hear what is being said if that were so. At the time of writing, the above video has been watched a little under three hundred times. The vast majority of those that have listened to it can hear the words very clearly from the feedback I have received. Crystal clear, as if it were a boy talking. However, there are a handful of lovely people who I have shared the video with who can only hear noise, they can hear no words at all. Fascinating. The ability to hear appears to be frequency related. Furthermore, the handful that listened and couldn’t hear were either skeptical about our continuing to exist beyond physical death, were fearful of hearing communication this way or were simply not ready. Of course, there could be many other reasons, I’m simply relaying what I have come to understand from the feedback I have been given so far.
If you find that you cannot hear the words before I convey them, that is likely because my conveying the words is grounding them. The information is getting a grounding chord and then others can hear. Here is the explanation as given in the Susanne Wilson document:-
An Impromptu Interaction – 13th October, 2022
Once again, I attended one of Susanne’s wonderful, monthly Spirit Guide Q & A sessions. This time though, I attended with a specific question in mind. When holding a live session, I listen to what the person in spirit is saying, then convey what they are saying to my client and then they hear the words. Only occasionally do people hear the words without my conveying them first. Likewise with what I hear being said in the air, it is only when I reveal what is being said in the recordings I make that others hear, for the most part. And when they do hear..they go from hearing nothing to hearing the words as clearly as I do. My team had mentioned to me that it was frequency related but they also alluded to more.
One of Susanne’s guides stepped forward and showed Susanne the visual of a red dot and then explained that when I speak the words that I hear, I’m grounding them. When I speak it and play it, the information is getting a grounding cord and then others can hear. Susanne conveyed that there were other people that can hear and interpret right away and I confirmed that to be true, I had already experienced that.
A medium friend subsequently mentioned to me that the red dot that Susanne mentions refers to your root Chakra which is the primary grounding Chakra. Energetically this is probably the primary energy center you are using that is doing the actual grounding. A discussion with my team a little later confirmed this new information to be accurate.
