Meet Alex Day

I am very grateful to be part of Sally’s team on this side of the veil. Working as Sally’s personal assistant is an absolute pleasure. I am very much part of a wider group of people who help Sally and sit in our home circle. It is great working as a team. We all have different skill sets, and it is brilliant to bounce ideas off each other and share our trials and tribulations.

Sally’s mediumship is continuously developing and evolving, so there is always something new to do to support her and her team in spirit’s work. It is undoubtedly the most fascinating and rewarding work to do. I enjoy overseeing projects and coordinating volunteer activities, such as processing image videos related to live conversations. In the process, I have met so many lovely people.

Another aspect of my role is assisting Sally with the upkeep of her website and YouTube channel. I also maintain a record of

all our home circle meetings. These are essential tasks as evidence from the spirit world must be carefully documented and made accessible to all who wish to learn about or research the greater reality.

I am also qualified as a Loving Heart Connections facilitator. Within the Heart Smiles Circle Community, we regularly gather to practice this modality and connect with those across the veil.

A little about my background: I live in the UK, have been married for 38 years and have two lovely daughters…one here on the Earth plane and the other in spirit. I started my career at IBM but had always wanted to teach. I taught A’level Business Studies and Economics and have a degree in Economics, a Masters in Education and an MBE for Services to Education. I was an Assistant Principal and a Director of Adult and Higher Education; I also worked for the Quality Assurance Agency as an inspector of higher education. Skills and knowledge gained in these roles have been valuable preparation for this work, which I think could be the most important of my life.

I have been on a spiritual journey all of my life, but things happen that nudge and push your development further. For me, it has been the transition of key family members. Firstly, my Dad (who belonged to a spiritual group) crossed over when I was 26 years old, and I began to hear his voice in my head.

When I was 42 years old, my Mum joined him, and I heard her voice in my head, too. I delved into books such as Brian Weiss’s “Many Lives Many Masters” and used his CD’s to do past life regressions. I was fortunately taken to see a medium for the first time by my mum’s best friend. It was a complete revelation. I also gained my Reiki I and II attunements.

Then, in 2020, the unimaginable happened. Our beautiful, kind, talented, clever and witty younger daughter fell into depression and crossed over at the age of 27. I hear her voice, too, and in my determination to continue my relationship with her, I read everything I could about the afterlife. I researched the web, joined various groups, learnt how to do Shamanic journeying, took courses in clinical hypnotherapy and mediumship and had sessions with several mediums.

Most significantly, I came across Sally and was intrigued by what she was doing. I had a session with her and was utterly amazed. It resulted in a significant turning point in my grief. It was like the final piece in the jigsaw puzzle, which enabled me to move from believing to knowing that we continue to live on, had fallen into place. I could see how much she was juggling, and I really wanted to help, so I became a volunteer, initially working on drawing out images from Live conversation videos and gradually taking on responsibilities in other areas.
