Before Tommy passed in May 2019, my relationship with my spirit guides was more subtle and less frequent. I would take what they shared and use it to help others, but it felt like a gentle undercurrent in my life rather than a constant presence. That relationship both deepened and expanded after Tommy’s transition. At the beginning of 2022, my team let me know that a significant change was occurring. Many members were being switched out, and new ones were joining. I could feel the shift and was told to “buckle up,” as a new chapter was about to begin. Soon after, I found myself communicating with a collective whose wisdom left me in awe. Within a short time, they surprised me by revealing their name: Symphony. Though names are unnecessary in the spiritual realm, Symphony explained that one was needed for their presence and work here on the physical plane. The name is a perfect fit, for many reasons. In summary, the origin of the word means:-
Musical harmony. A unison of sounds, harmony. Harmony, a concord of sounds. Harmonious, agreeing in sound. Syn- “together” + phōnē “voice, sound.”
Browsing this website, where you can read, see, and hear how Symphony interacts with me and others, reflects how perfectly their name fits. Symphony speaks, guides, and teaches as a harmonious collective. They use music to heal and raise vibrations, whether working with groups or individuals. Their purpose is to assist humankind with its evolution and to help raise the vibration of the planet.
Less than a week after Symphony revealed their name, I had a long-planned session with the medium, Susanne Wilson. During the session, my team reconfirmed the big changes that had taken place and revealed more about themselves. One member identified themselves, and I was stunned. My immediate thought was, “Me, of all people?” I later realized why they hadn’t revealed their name directly to me, I would have struggled to believe it. Since then, I’ve had wonderful interactions with this member, including receiving an apport that beautifully represents who they are. During the same session, this member shared a message channeled by Susanne Wilson. It took my breath away and has become a creed of sorts:-
“Tell them to love the earth, tell them to love each other. There will be more chaos created in this world, and from it, love of earth and one another shall grow. Your demonstration is essential. We ask not that you prove under the conditions that man insists upon proof… we ask that you entrust evidence unto us, and we shall provide all. Do not suspend your disbelief, do not suspend your belief, for belief is not required in either form. It is, as you have oft said, solely a matter of trust. We are the guiding lights, and there will be many names for us, but the best and perhaps the most appropriate name is, God is Love.”

As a collective, Symphony is fluid… members can change, with new ones joining or others transitioning out as our work, focus and relationship evolves. In some of the examples I share on this website, you’ll hear Symphony’s voice, sometimes sounding male, other times female. This reflects there being both male and female energies within the group. Some members have lived human lives, while others have not. Symphony has described themselves as “a symphony of the universal consciousness, consisting of many.”
I will name one member here, my son Tommy. Symphony has described him as the “linchpin who brings our worlds together.” He works closely with both me and Symphony. I’ve rarely heard the word ‘linchpin’ being used so I looked up the meaning. A linchpin can mean a person or thing that serves as the essential element in a complicated or delicate system or structure, the one that holds everything together. A metaphor would be: a linchpin is someone or something that keeps the wheels from falling off of an operation… they keep the whole thing working. I love his role in this work, and it is such an honor for me to be a part of it. While I often refer to Tommy and Symphony separately, I do so in the knowledge that Tommy is a part of Symphony.
In September 2022, I began sitting in a development circle for the physical aspect of my mediumship. The circle, aptly named The Symphony Circle, meets weekly via Zoom in daylight. From our very first meeting, we experienced phenomena. By the sixth week, we were witnessing independent, direct voice communication, image downloads in all our environments, orbs, and messages infused within music. In April 2023, during a circle meeting, I shared how incredible it was to be serenaded weekly by Symphony singing within the music. Symphony whispered to the group, “Just wait and see…” Each week is an adventure, and we all eagerly look forward to our time with Symphony. We have become dear friends, and I am deeply grateful to have each of them in my life. Symphony also works with each circle member directly and several of them are now experiencing phenomena of a physical nature themselves, which I’m thrilled about.
I have had many beautiful interactions with Symphony, making it difficult to choose favorites. One particularly memorable moment occurred in July 2021, when they created music in the air around me as I stood in my garden. The love I felt as I listened was beyond anything I had ever experienced before. Another beautiful experience occurred in January 2023 when Symphony took a 12-second clip from the music that is used during our weekly physical mediumship circle meetings and placed it in my voice memos. They gave the memo an incredible title as you’ll see and infused the music with a loving message. This precious gift is something I can play whenever I wish, and it holds deep meaning for me.
However, there was a greater purpose behind Symphony leaving me this voice memo. I am immensely grateful to have Symphony in my life, and I do my best to honour their purpose and faith in me on a daily basis. They are the ones who have developed my unique blend of mediumship and are at the helm of all that I do and experience. How my logo came to be.
Being a visual person, the idea of having a logo appealed to me, but what should it depict? I’ve always loved sunflowers, angels, animals, and nature, so I thought inspiration might come from one of these areas. I also wanted my son included in some way, as he has been an integral part of so much that has unfolded.
When I reached out to Tommy, he let me know that whatever design I chose, he wanted me to add a circle around it. That was his contribution, and it felt perfect, given the spiritual meaning of a circle. Later, as my team evolved, there was also a reference to a circle from them, reinforcing its significance.
I decided to incorporate two circles into the design, reflecting both Tommy’s choice and Symphony’s circle reference. My team proposed placing one circle inside the other, which I took on board. I spent weeks mulling over the design but couldn’t seem to settle on anything. Then, Symphony stepped in with a beautiful idea for the design:-
The bird bath featured in the YouTube video doubles as my coffee table during early mornings in the garden with my dogs. On January 18, 2022, as I sat down and placed my coffee cup on the bird bath, something extraordinary happened.
The letter “T,” formed by two tiny twigs, immediately caught my attention. It felt as though it jumped out at me, and I instantly recognized it as representing my son’s name, Tommy. As it registered in my mind, my view of the bird bath expanded and I noticed the design… a circle within a circle.
In that moment, my team whispered in my ear, “A circle within a circle and a ‘T’ to represent Tommy. And the angel wings, you can see them at the base of the bird bath. Place an angel wing on either side of the inner circle, like the tree leaves reflected in the water. There’s your logo.”
With my heart overflowing with gratitude, I captured the image and sent it to my daughter, who designed my logo. The final design features two circles, angel wings flanking the inner circle, and a “T” to represent Tommy. My daughter added her own meaningful detail, giving the inner circle a visual impression of the sun rising… a beautiful play on the word “son.” “Son rising.” Indeed. It is beautiful in every way, and the logo holds a deeply special place in my heart.
